USDA 66% BIO-BASED CERTIFIED
The USDA Biobased label confirms that a product is made from renewable, plant-based resources.
VEGATEX is certified 66% biobased, using ingredients such as apple pomace, lemon peel, brewer’s grain, and lyocell from wood pulp.
By replacing fossil fuel-based materials, VEGATEX helps reduce energy use, water consumption, toxic waste, and CO₂ emissions.
100% CERTIFIED VEGAN
Eliminating leather is not enough — true vegan materials must be free from all animal-derived substances.
VEGATEX is certified 100% vegan by PETA, ensuring that no animal ingredients are used at any stage of production, from raw materials to the final product.
EU REACH
The EU’s REACH regulation ensures strict control over chemical substances to protect human health and the environment.
VEGATEX complies fully with REACH, with test results showing near-zero emissions of DMF and VOCs — common issues in traditional synthetic leather.

GRS CERTIFIED
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certifies products made with at least 20% recycled content and ensures responsible practices throughout the supply chain — from raw material collection to final sale.
VEGATEX is GRS certified for upcycling beverage industry by-products and using recycled PET (RPET) in its backing materials.
